Notice is hereby given that TIGI HOLDINGS LIMITED , a company incorporated in England and Wales (United Kingdom) of 1 Scott Place, 2 Hardman Street, Manchester, M3 3AA, United Kingdom,  is the sole proprietor in Somaliland, Puntland, and Somalia generally, having acquired this from Unilever Global IP Limited, of the following trademark:  

BRUT  

“The mark consists of the wordmark    “BRUT” written in stylized Latin capital characters in black. The mark as a whole is in black and white.”

RIGHTS CLAIMED IN RESPECT OF CLASS 3 OF WIPO NICE CLASIFICATIONS

Soaps; perfumery, essential oils, cosmetics; colognes, eau de toilette, perfume body sprays; oils, creams and lotions for the skin; shaving foam, shaving gel, pre-shaving and after-shaving lotions; talcum powder; preparations for the bath and shower; hair lotions; dentifrices; non-medicated mouthwashes; deodorants; anti-perspirants for personal use; non-medicated toilet preparations.  

The said proprietor would be entitled to registration under the Somaliland United Kingdom Trade Marks Ordinance No. 9 of 6 August 1938 and Puntland Trademarks Act No.02 of 10^th September 2024 by virtue of its United Kingdom Trade Mark Registration No. UK00909103219.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL CONCERNED, INCLUDING DEALERS, that the proprietor of the above-mentioned trademark asserts full and exclusive rights to said trademark. Any unauthorized use, imitation, copying, or infringement or otherwise improperly using the above trademarks without the permission of the constitutes a violation of the proprietor’s rights and will be treated as an unlawful act.

The proprietor reserves the right to take all necessary legal action, including civil and criminal proceedings against any individual, company, or firm found engaging in such unauthorized activities under the laws of Somalia, Somaliland, and Puntland. Violators will be held liable for all legal consequences arising from their actions.
